Who We Are........
Dr. Gail Stevens opened Chiropractic Health Center, in Mineola, in 1995. In addition to Chiropractic services, Chiropractic Health Center offers massage therapy, acupuncture, graston therapy, cupping, and custom orthotics.
In December of 2003, additional space became available in the same building and, Dr. Stevens' and her sister, Debbie Krzyminski, opened Fitness Figures, hoping to make healthy living a part of their client's lives. In addition to a 30-minute circuit, Fitness Figures offers personal training and classes such as Yoga, Pilates, TRX, Zumba, Stretch, Body Conditioning, and Core Strength. An aim of Fitness Figures is to provide an environment where everyone is working toward the common goal of getting healthy.
In 2009, Dr. Ronald Stevens, a board certified cardiologist, joined his sisters and Advanced Cardiology was born. In addition to Cardiology, other services include a drug rehab referral program. The three siblings have been working on creating a Comprehensive Wellness Center to address all the health needs of their patients and clients.
Debbie Krzyminski is the co-owner of Fitness Figures NY Inc. together with her sister Gail Stevens, D.C. (Chiropractic Health Center) and their brother Ronald Stevens, M.D. (Advance Cardiology) they run a comprehensive wellness center. Debbie trained as a personal trainer at Hofstra University and also received a personal training certification through International Sports Sciences Association. Other certifications include TRX, Pilates, Zumba, and Pound. She teaches additional classes such as Stretch, Core Strength, Body Sculpting, Cardio Sculpt and Trampoline Fitness.
Maureen Ferrante MS, a mental health counselor, is a certified Zumba instructor, and a member of ZIN (Zumba Instructor Network). She taught at Curves for four years, and Chair Zumba at Sands Point Preserve and Park for two years.
Maureen strives to provide a safe environment that is motivating, fun filled, and challenging. If you love music, dance, and movement, and are looking to be fit, stronger, and more energetic – This class is for you!
Carol Iovino is a certified Yoga Instructor and completed her 200 hours in December 2013 at Om Sweet Om, NY. She has experience in teaching at yoga studios and also in a gym setting. She teaches a vinyasa flow style yoga with emphasis on prana and body alignment, and is registered with Yoga Alliance. She is also certified with Fitour to teach Aqua Aerobics, and Core & Functional Fitness.
Madeline McAndrews is a lifelong fitness enthusiast. She devotes her time to helping people find their own path to fitness and well-being. She is a strong advocate of the connection between your well being and productivity. Madeline has been teaching professionally for five years.
In 2009, Madeline received her primary group certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America). She also received her 500 hour yoga training from The Little Yoga House in Wantagh, NY. She has studied Pilates at the Hot Pilates Secret Studio.
Maria Patino is a certified yoga instructor and completed her 200 hours in December 2016, at The Long Island Yoga School with a completion in yoga anatomy education. She has training in all levels of yoga with specialization in Vinyassa Flow and Gentle Yoga for beginners. She continues her education by taking various workshops to enhance her knowledge of organizing sequences, proper alignment and meditation. She enjoys inspiring others to improve wellness and commit to long-term health and fitness goals.
